The Bedford River Festival is a biennial event taking place over two days along both sides of the River Ouse. It celebrates the wealth of local music, entertainment and culture, alongside promotional activities for local businesses and organisations.
The first festival took place 40 years ago in 1978 to celebrate the opening of of the river link to the Wash. The festival has grown considerably over the years and now includes six stages, sports & heritage villages, and a large programme of river activities.
All these photographs were taken on Sunday July 15th, the second day of the festival.
