It was the Saturday between Christmas and New Year, which meant it was time for Hitchin Camera Club’s midwinter photo walk. We met at 10.00 and went for a walk through the Oughtonhead nature reserve before retiring to the pub for a pint!

The invasion of the photographers!
Silhouettes and sky
We weren’t the only visitors.
There was a herd of long-horned cows just off the beaten track
Seed pods, pretending to be moths?
Reflections
The trees were watching…

The “head” of the river and the end of the walk – time to go to the pub!
